Hi, welcome to Chowfan.co.uk, the site for you oldies from Hong Kong and
more specifically KGV. My name is Chris Griffin, I was known as 'Griff' and attended both
KJS and KGV, in fact I was born in Hong Kong. Some of you may remember me, or my brother
Nick Griffin, he worked as a reporter, then news reader for TVB Pearl back in the 70's. My
sisters, Carol and Gill also attended KJS and KGV.
This site has been set up so that we can re-visit our memories of those long gone days
of fun and jollity that was the 60's, 70's or whatever your era was. I would like to
create a site that some of you, if not all of you!, will want to visit on a regular basis
and, with your help, you may even make it your home page.
What I would like you to do is to keep me posted with pictures, old and new, and any
stories, also old and new that anybody else might be interested in. These can include
births, deaths and marriages, or even just escapades. It will be as good as you let me
make it. So send me your pictures and/or stories and I will get them posted for everyone
to enjoy. Use the Comments/Ideas in the Feedback section.
So please have a look round and enjoy but, please take part and share those pictures or suggestions.

NEWS
For those of you that have not heard, my brother Nick passed away on the 23rd January 2013. Unfortunately he had been ill for a while and caught a virus that he just could not fight off. There will be a ceremony on the 23rd Feb in HK, let me know if you want more details.
EVENTS
Right then you miserable gits, as most of you now use Facebook, instead of Chowfan, so Chowfan is now also a group on Facebook! If like me you don't like Facebook that much, then stay on the Chowfan website, it's more interesting anyway!
